Animal testing has long been a standard part of drug safety assessment. But that is changing rapidly.
From AI-driven toxicity prediction to organoids, iPSC-based models and human cell-based systems, New Approach Methodologies (NAMs) are opening up new possibilities for drug discovery and safety assessment.
But one important question remains: Are NAMs really ready for real-world drug development and regulatory use?
